Data security is of the utmost importance at Salon Di Marco & Day Spa.  Our scheduling software provider, Boulevard is designated as a Payment Facilitator by the card brands.  In order to be a Payment Facilitator Boulevard must adhere to the strictest requirements under PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards). Boulevard goes through annual audits to prove our compliance and make sure that they are keeping the data we are entrusted with safe.

Credit card information is encrypted following PCI DSS regulations, ensuring that the data is encrypted both at rest and in transit. If credit card is manually entered by a SDM salon coordinator in order to keep a credit card on file, the data is encrypted on the front desk computer before being sent over the internet. To enhance security, the encrypted credit card data is sent directly to the processing bank where it is encrypted once more before being stored.

Removal of credit card information on file will result in cancellation of existing appointments.
